Henrietta Stuart Artist Biography

Henrietta studied BA Fine Art at Newcastle University, where she graduated in 1988 with a 1st Class degree. From 1988-92 she lived and painted in Marseilles, France. Henrietta returned to the UK and worked in the Chiswick Studios (1993-97) and the Chertsey Studios (1997-2003). Between 2003-11 she made the Languedoc, France, her home. During this time living in France, Henrietta spent time travelling and working in Greece staying on the island of Ithaca for two prolonged periods. She returned to the UK in 2011 and settled in West London where she now has a studio in Wimbledon.

 

Her works are to be found in collections in New York, Houston, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Paris as well as the UK.

 

Since 2011, Henrietta has had three solo shows at the A&D Gallery in Marylebone and has taken part in many mixed shows. She has had works accepted for the Society of Women (SWA) annual show in 2016 and the Royal West of England Academy show (RWA) 2015 and 2016.
