These are part of a series of works Corinna has been making on the theme "Preparing A Face" The multi-faceted spinning head has been a recurring theme in her work. In our fast paced modern ‘social’ life we may momentarily find ourselves in various situations where we quickly need to ‘prepare’ or project an appropriate ‘face’. Corinna is continually experimenting with movement of the figure, facial gestures, angles and expressions . Inspired by T.S. Elliots "The love song of J. Alfred Prufock - there will be a time , there will be a time to prepare a face to meet the faces that you meet, concerned with our surfaces."
