An exhibition expressing nature through Abstract, Landscape & Floral works. 3 Jun - 15 Jul 2023 The artists we have curated focus on shapes, colours and textures in a somewhat simplified angle depicting nature in some form or another. These are a more decorative view igniting memories and thoughts of a place rather than an accurate depiction that is almost a photographic image of a particular place. 'A Million Shades of Grey'
A Solo Show by Mr Controversial 4pm - 9pm 10 Sep 2022 We are incredibly proud to exhibit a solo show for Mr Controversial and we are enormously excited to introduce the artist in person to our worldwide client and collector base where he joins our exclusive and distinguished list of collectable artists. He will be meeting and greeting clients in person, and will share his story, inspirations and influences whilst enjoying an evening of live music, a bite to eat and a glass of wine.
He is a London-based artist who lives up to his creative pseudonym through the controversial nature of his work, calling out and poking fun at the first-world problems obsessed over by the millennial digital-first generation.
Mr. Controversial will be coming to Turner Art Perspective in person to exhibit his fusion of vintage imagery and relatable quotes. This exhibition will showcase artworks from Mr. Controversial’s 'A Million Shades of Grey'.
Mr. Controversial has introduced new pulp imagery created from scratch, as well as photography of icons; from Hollywood actresses to civil rights protagonists. A new san serif font, new mediums, new monochrome colour scheme, as well as a new presentation in the framing style. All new elements but the same Mr. Controversial twist – beautiful vintage aesthetic with witty, relatable and current captions that tell an enticing story. Read more -
