Once again proving his interest in the latest techniques and advances in printing technology, Peter Blake has worked with artist Martin Richardson (imaging pioneer and Professor of Modern Holography) to create a moving 3D image of one his most loved creations, the Eiffel Tower. Available in a range of sizes, these extraordinary lenticulars also feature dazzling butterflies in all different colours, brought to life with the magical fusion of art and technology.

Richardson’s work is a marriage of technology and art; his lenticulars are made using proprietary print software and a special lens material, otherwise known as a micro-lens. This combined with other optical components create a 3-D moving image is called a lenticular. In our increasingly digital world, lenticular technology offers artists the opportunity of transforming their work into mini three-dimensional representations and illusions.
