In Lunar Pyramid, a silvery full moon rises behind an iridescent pyramid, evoking the mysteries of intuition. Each print is hand painted with specialist pearlescent and metallic inks, so no two are identical: the hand-painted details mean the pieces are classed as 'unique' multiples. The pyramid itself, a timeless symbol of ascension, transformation and divine connection, stands as a tribute to the monumental geometry and ancient mysteries of Egypt, reimagined for a contemporary metaphysical narrative. These works draw inspiration from the artist's personal journey through meditation, the awakening of kundalini energy and metaphysical exploration, and are influenced by the visionary Hilma af Klint, whose use of elemental symbolism resonates deeply, alongside Baker's enduring fascination with the sacred structures of ancient civilisations, such as the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt and the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon in Mexico.
