Diamond Life is a digital print which is hand finished with acrylic and gold dust. It is inspired by the statue of the Goddess Iris in the British Museum. She is the Goddess of the rainbow and reflects the vibrant multicultural city of London, a city of tolerance and diversity, a modern Babylon. She is wearing the Persian order of the lion and the sun, which is in the V&A, and was given to the British commissioner at the time by the Shah of Persia in recognition of arranging a peace treaty between Persia and Russia
