Shine 5' is a limited edition digital print, produced exclusively at Printspace in Shoreditch, East London. Printed on German etching paper, it is hand finished with gold leaf, diamond dust and acrylic paint. The original image was created whilst still teaching. I gave each of the students who left at the same time a copy, as a reminder that they too could shine. It has become quite a seminal piece in itself, and a reminder for me in my own pursuit of becoming a professional artist. It is also an image about how I feel about living and working in London. This is a new version of that original.
