is a recent painting, developed from studies that I made whilst looking out at
my garden during the first lockdown. My paintings take around 2-3 months to
work on, with only one colour/layer of paint applied each day. I paint using a
combination of poured layers and expressive, directly applied marks, rarely
using a brush.
