most stunning villages in Argentinian Patagonia—I returned to my studio with a
powerful urge to translate those emotions and images onto canvas.
I set out to capture the magic of nature: its
colors, movement, chaos, joy, power, and serenity.
As always, I painted layer upon layer, one work
emerging from beneath another, until I arrived at the one that made me feel
