Jason Keeley's 'Zero-G' brushed aluminium work
Zoomed out image of Jason Keeley's 'Zero-G' brushed aluminium work
Jason has always loved dance and been fascinated by the interpretation of sound in visual form. These figurative prints show movement through Jason’s use of repeated linear designs. Not one print shares the same representation of the dynamic human form, showing a versatile demonstration of Jason’s unique printing method. Jason’s works not only focuses on dance and movement, but also evokes a kind of vibrant emotional response from his audience.
In Jason's own words: "
I have really enjoyed creating prints on brushed aluminium. They force me to keep things simple. I enjoy that I can depict a 3-dimensional surface as a 2-dimensional execution, without tone and retain its form. The reflective metal finish adds a bit of theatre. The reflections move as the viewer passes the image. The mood of the image can change depending on the light in the room."This website uses cookies
