Signed and dated 2021 on the reverse. Created with acrylic and paint pen. Inspired by torn, layered billboard advertisements, in this series I scrape areas of acrylic paint onto the surface on top of which I make line drawings of characters based on people I have observed. I then repeat this process several times, adding lots of layers of people over the top of each other to represent a busy, bustling city.
