"This
painting was made following a trip to Marrakech, inspired by the intensity of
the sights, sounds and smells of the souks. My paintings take around 2-3 months
to work on, with only one colour/layer of paint applied each day. I paint using
a combination of poured layers and expressive, directly applied marks, rarely
using a brush."

colourful area of yards upon yards of dyed yarns are the inspiration behind the
colour pallet. Capturing this intense atmosphere with layers of paint mark
making. Pouring & dripping each layer and gradually building up to the
finished work.
