Natasha Barnes is an internationally recognised South African abstract artist whose work captures emotion, movement, and the natural world. Born in 1969 and entirely self-taught, she has become one of South Africa’s most published and collected artists, with her contemporary art exhibited in London, New York, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Her modern abstract paintings are celebrated for their textured brushstrokes, rich colour palettes, and instinctive energy. Now based in Ballito, South Africa, Natasha paints daily in her studio. Away from the canvas, she enjoys marathon running, exploring the African bush, and caring for her cats—all of which inspire her expressive, life-filled art.
