For Lunar Pyramid, a luminous moon rises behind an iridescent pyramid, evoking the mysteries of intuition, feminine energy, and the cyclical rhythms of life. The pyramid itself, a timeless symbol of ascension, transformation, and divine connection, stands as a tribute to the monumental geometry and ancient mysteries of Egypt, reimagined for a contemporary metaphysical narrative. At Mega size, the piece becomes a true statement work: at 100 x 100cm, the pearlescent and metallic inks shift with the light as you move around the room, so the moon appears to glow and the pyramid's surface shimmer changes throughout the day. This is the scale that commands a wall, whether hung as the centrepiece of a living room, bedroom or hallway. These works draw inspiration from the artist's personal journey through meditation, the awakening of kundalini energy, and metaphysical exploration. They are also influenced by the visionary Hilma af Klint, whose use of elemental symbolism resonates deeply, and by Lauren's enduring fascination with the sacred structures of ancient civilisations, such as the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt and the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon in Mexico.
