A collection of work that uses the principle of the ‘Fourth Wall’.
A suspension of disbelief using imaginary boundaries that persuade the audience they are observing real events. The images are assembled from found material; vintage Japanese postcards, old western film stills and American postcards all reflecting distinctive cultural identities and utopian ideals. The collages are designed to create a new and compelling fictional landscapes that override the reality of two clashing cultures.
