work explores the resonances between sound and gesture – how rhythm, motion,
and mark-making become entangled. The text, “the link between sound and
unfolding movement,” acts as both anchor and echo, fading into
abstraction as the visual language takes over.
The composition unfolds like a score – part choreography,
part script – suggesting that writing, like sound, moves through time rather
than occupying a fixed point. The gestures pulse with a sense of immediacy, as
though each line were drawn in response to something just heard or just felt.
