A Sneek-Peak: What to Expect?

One artist we are excited to display for the very first time is Anika De Souza. New to our gallery, but no stranger to the London art fair scene, Anika has carved out an international reputation for her distinctive fusion of abstract painting and classical calligraphy. Anika’s paintings are dynamic, rhythmic, and lyrical. Inspired by her love of abstract minimalism and training in classical calligraphy, her pieces beautifully weave together bold colour, gestural lines and fragments of text.

Another artist we’re keen to share for the first time is Jacqueline Mulvaney. From Anthropologie to Harvey Nichols, the US to Japan, Jacqueline Mulvaney's embroidered textiles have captivated audiences worldwide. Inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, they tell the tales of greed, lust, and envy through the chaos of a dinner party gone horribly wrong. Blending sharp wit with religious motifs, she transforms vintage tablecloths and napkins into collectible pieces that she hopes will become “tomorrow’s heirlooms.”

Next, is an artist who has been with us for a while. From being interviewed by the BBC to being featured in Vogue, Essex-based artist Simon Kirk has captivated audiences with his vibrant figurative paintings since 2007. Blending poetry with painting, text with image, and figuration with abstraction, Simon draws inspiration from Japanese haiku and the French philosophy of the ‘Absurd.’ His work celebrates the playful, the chaotic, and the unexpected. Inviting viewers to interpret their own narratives, Simon explains that “the story is different for everyone.”  He is currently putting the final touches on his latest piece - we can’t wait to show it off at the fair!

Balancing her days between Buenos Aires and London, Andrea Varroto’s gestural works have become a defining presence in the contemporary art world – one we’re excited to share! Andrea’s works translate the sensations of nature onto canvases. Through an exploration of light, movement, and colour, her abstract landscapes invite contemplation and stillness - echoing the experience of being immersed in the natural world. Describing her process as a journey, she says, “I dance with my paintings - letting them guide me.” Often working outdoors, with canvases spread across the forest floor, her work captures the energy, movement, and chaos of the natural world.

London-based artist and photographer Gavin Mitchell has built an international following exhibiting across Europe, Hong Kong, and Miami, with his work even being featured on Netflix. Gavin’s work explores the relationship between the East and the West. Drawing inspiration from Japanese postcards and images of Geishas, he fuses ‘found’ materials with his own photography from around the globe, creating eclectic, lustrous compositions. Piecing his images together like a visual puzzle, he crafts final works designed to make viewers pause and linger in reflection.

Another artist we’re excited to bring to the fair is Marco Araldi, who’s ornate paintings have propelled him onto the international stage. From UK art fairs to global commissions, his work has been turning heads for its beautifully detailed depictions of the natural world. Inspired by the glamour of the Art Deco movement, Araldi’s work explores the contrast between sharp geometry and natural forms. Merging his engineering and architectural background with Fine Art, his gilded compositions pull you into lush, immersive worlds where exotic plants unfurl and hummingbirds hover.
