Dan Baldwin’s new series of energetic large-scale mono prints sees the artist create original hand painted works on paper that have been screen printed over with the same image in a single layer of ink. Each background was painted by Dan in his studio in a vibrant colour palette of varying tones of blue, pink, yellow, purple and red. An image, drawn by the artist onto true-grain before being made into a screen, has then been printed as a top layer over each one in a high gloss black. The result: unique mono prints, each with their own individual personality.
